The Warranty
New homebuyers are protected. The industry standard is a 2/5/10 warranty offered by a number of credible insurance companies. The standard warranty is two-years protection on materials and labor, five-years on the building envelope, and ten-years on structural defects.

Klassen Management is an approved builder and offers a warranty under the Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada.
For many homebuyers, one of the deciding factors in purchasing a brand new home is the warranty offered by the builder. The home building industry is a strong advocate of consumer protection throughout Canada.
Once your home is completed, the builder will take you on a pre-possession inspection tour to familiarize you with your new home and take note of any last-minute touch-ups and repairs required. You will be asked to sign a Certificate of Completion and Possession which will be filed to initiate coverage.
In the vast majority of cases the builder corrects problems very quickly. In the event of default, the warranty program steps in and honors all builder commitments under the warranty contract.
During the inspection, the builder will show you how to operate your home's systems and explain the maintenance requirements to keep your home in peak condition. Many major building components are backed by manufacturers' warranties, which the builder will pass on to you.
Klassen Management has a very positive reputation with the Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada. We encourage our clients to contact the insurance provider directly to validate our history.
